I don't know if I'm allowed to ask on this...but if someone gets this can they answer...because I'm freaking out. I had sex like two months ago unprotected and didn't really notice anything wrong. I'm on the pill, but I miss more than I actually stay on track. I've been bleeding, but it hasn't been monthly, just kinda randomly. I've been moody and really hungry. But also super nasueas when I'm around certain foods, but I never throw up. I have gained seven pounds for no reason it seems. I took a test and it was negative, but I'm still worried. I'm kinda chubby, but under my belly button, if I push down, it's weird feeling and hard when I push down. Can someone answer if I may be pregnant and how to figure out for sure, without a doctor...?? Please help..!!

Welcome to ehealthforum.
Chances of pregnancy are possible especially if you have messed up your regular birth control pill intake or have missed taking 2 or more than 2 active pills or taken them late by more than 2-3 hours for 2 or more than 2 occasions (you will not have the effective protection from your birth control pill use). There can be chances of contraceptive failure also. Your recent symptoms could suggest pregnancy possibility. The urine pregnancy tests done very early in pregnancy can show you false negative results as the kits are calibrated ones, so unless the hormone levels in urine reach a certain level, they do not show positive results. The test should always be done on early morning first urine sample to get accurate results (pregnancy hormone HCG is believed to be in highest concentration in this sample, and you should avoid lot of fluid intake and caffeinated beverages in the night before taking the test). If pregnancy is suspected, visit your doctor/gynecologist for thorough examination (to confirm pregnancy related changes/signs in body) and blood/serum HCG level test (to confirm/rule out pregnancy accurately). Be in regular monitoring and follow-up with your treating doctor/gynecologist and report any new/abnormal symptoms immediately. Drink plenty of water. Take adequate rest. Maintain healthy diet.
Take care.

I kind of have the same thing going on. I was really bad about taking my pill and I had unprotected sex( we weren't being very careful either),and now I'm showing alot of symptoms of being pregnant. I have a had two days of pretty much spotting, its not heavy enough to even be considered a period. I am always tired, my breasts are super tender, my lower back hurts, I've had lower abdominal pain, kinda like cramping, nausea, mood swings, and the scent of everything is really strong to me. I just plain feel pregnant... but I've had 3 negative HPT. Could I be pregnant? Is it too soon to know?
