The habit of taking off my clothes before pooping started when I was about six. First I couldn't do it with my shoes on, then my socks, then my pants, etc. Now I can't poop with anything on, and this is a huge concern. Does anybody know if this is some condition, or maybe just a mental health problem? And what can I do to get better? I would also like to know whether or not this is common.

Hello and thank you for posting your medical question on E health forum.

From the history provided, it seems that you have a psychologic issue and not an medical disorder.

You might benefit by undergoing behavior therapy and counselling by a psychologist or a psychiatrist.

I hope this helps.
