if I had a ultrasound done & I was 8+5 what are the chances of that being wrong or off ? I was told early ultrasounds can be some weeks off but I would like to know how far can they possibly be off . my ultrasound was done vaginally & on my adomen . they based my baby's age on the measurements they got that day cause I wasn't sure when my LMP was but then I remembered the day it started . so if my LMP matches the age on the date I got the ultrasound done is it still possibly off ?

If the LMP matches your last period date then you can be pretty sure you got pregnant from sex 8 to 16 days after the start of the LMP. Doctors count pregnancy from the LMP even though the ovulation involved occurred two weeks later.

Asia, pregnancy from sex on cycle day 7 is pretty unusual but not impossible. There was also no ejaculation. I would put my money on the guy who did ejaculate closer to day 14. A paternity test after the child is born is not expensive if you want to be absolutely sure.
