Welcome to e-HealthForum,
Your ultrasound report suggests uterus is normal and ovaries are multi cystic. Multicystic ovaries could be isolated finding or associated with polycystic ovarian syndrome.Due to presence of multicystic or polycystic ovary one should rule out poly cystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS).PCOS is multifactorial hormonal disorder which leads to anovulation and infertility. Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) is an illness characterized by irregular or no periods, acne, obesity, and excess hair growth.Women with PCOS are at a higher risk for obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, and heart disease. With proper treatment, risks can be minimized. Please consult your gynecologist for further evaluation and management.
Take care.
