Ultrasound didn't find sac

unless she got a false positive test it looks like she's not pregnant any more. it's a miscarriage and it looks like the body has reabsorbed the pregnancy as u haven't mentioned her having any bleeding.

Hi thanks for the response, she did not have any bleeding or pain, she did the blood test which confirmed that she was preggo, she also said the doc did the test for HCG levels and they are doubling.
The thing am thinking is how possible that ultrasound could not show anything not even a sac or something???? she is very emotional(crying the whole day)i just feel bad for her, i think i will introduce her to this forum maybe she might get some answers to calm her down.. the doc scheduled another ultrasound for her after two weeks.
(Body Reabsorbed the pregnancy???) there is even something like that??? how pliz explain how it happens???

i'm not sure exactly but i saw it on tv. the pregnancy dies and the body reabsorbs it as it is v small. saw program on tv where mother was preg with multiples and then in next scan there was 1 less and they said that pregnancy had been reabsorbed. strange i know. has your friend been checked 4 an ectopic or a molar pregnancy?

I did not ask her if the doc said anything about ectopic or molar pregnancy, she has decided to get a second opinion from another doc at another clinic, i hope things go well for her, will update you on the out come. thank you.....

I hope you are still watching this forum.. Was your friend in fact still pregnant? I had the same thing happen to me & I just assumed I was wrong about being pregnant.. & believed the doctors.. But I still haven't started. I just want some peace of mind for myself.
