my husband was just diagnosed with colon cancer and was made aware that raditation will sterilize him. came to conclusion we want to try to get pregnant. so I stopped taking birth control pill right away then couple days later started my period. however we had sex before I got my period so my question is could I be pregnant? and if not is it possible to get pregnant so soon after coming off the pill? radiation starts in a week so very limited on time! (however also had his sperm freezed) any info would be great!

I read your question and i understand your concern. You are not pregnant and it may be a couple of months before you could get pregnant, but i have seen people getting pregnant right after the discontinued pill. So keep your hopes high and use the ovulation calendar and have more frequent coitus around ovulation days.
