Abdominal Pain Answer A61100
Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern

H.pylori testing can be advised. If the GERD is severe with weight loss and anorexia then an upper GI endoscopy may also be advised and CLO testing can be done on the sample obtained via the upper GI endoscopy. A pro kinetic should be added in the regimen to see for improvement such as domeperidone or metoclopramide.

Wishing you best of health

Thanks
