Treating ovarian cyst while on birth control

Long story short... cause the story is long. Been on birth control 6 years, stopped them and used Duphaston 2 times since May to make my menstruation come. 1 week ago my doc saw me and said i have no cysts /one 1 cm follicle/ and to start birth control again this time. After duphaston my menstruation came and so is the pain. I started the birth control tho. Today i was in the emergency because its saturday and some other doctor said i do have a 3 cm cyst. Lord, i did have a 6 cm two years ago but the pain with this one is way worse. Also i have temperature 37,2-37,4 the whole day today but they didnt said anything about that. The doc said to continue with the birth control /i took the first pill for the first day already/ and to just watch it. I know that u can make the cyst shrink with hormonal medication /thats how i get rid of the 6 cm one/ . But can i use hormonal medication while i take birth control? I dont know if the topic is for Birth control or Ovaries Very Happy Also can i use Nurofen for the pain? The pain is mostly when i touch it. Should i stop the birth control since i took 1 pill only so i can be able to take hormonal medication later on?

Uptade: the pain i think was because gas... after i go to the toilet most ot it stops but it still hurts after i eat my second meal for the day or i have gas. I guess its the pressure on the cyst. Since i am on birth control i should wait weeks for my next period to see if it will get smaller or be gone? Cause this pain...
