My total cholesterol is 285. My HDL is 134. My LDL is 138. My Triglycerides are 65. Should I be concerned about this?

Hello and welcome to ehealth forum.

Yes your total cholesterol and LDL levels are high.

But your triglyceride levels are good.

Your HDL levels, if mentioned accurately are very high. The normal levels of HDL are in the range of 40 to 60 mg /dl.

You might consult your doctor, who can evaluate your medical history and then decide on the mode of treatment.

In the mean time, proper low fat diet and physical exercise would be very helpful to reduce your cholesterol levels.
