How Long Until Trazodone Works For Insomnia?


i would like any info anyone has to share about how long it takes for trazodone to make you sleepy?

i took 150 mg over an hour ago and do feel a little sleepy but not enough to actually get to sleep.

i only started taking trazodone a few days ago but have yet to feel any hypnotic effects.

does anyone have any advice as i suffer from chronic insomnia and just want to get some rest.

I read your question and I understand your concern.
The onset of action of trazodone is one hour.
However, individual variability are there due to different genomes.
