I am 21 weeks prego. and was just wondering when you start feeling contractions. I thought I had read somewhere that you will have small uterine contractions during your pregnancy. When do those start, if they do and what will they feel like?

Extremely eHealthy
Those are called Braxton Hicks and I felt them from 18 weeks on. To me my whole stomach would tighten up. I wouldn't say it hurt, but it was an odd feeling. For some women they do hurt though.

If you have a lot of them, like 5 an hour, you will want to let your doc know.
