Broken Hand While Sleeping...

User Profile
This morning I woke up with extreme pain in my hand. It was all swolen and the bone feels broken. It has a kink in it. It is so painful that 20mg of oxycontin, 50mg of tramadol, 7.5mg of hydrocodone/750 tylenol, 800mg of ibprofin didn't relieve the pain enough to make it tolerable. It did reduce the pain but it is so extremely painful I can't stand it anymore.

I have an appt with my pain management doctor in two hours so I am waiting to talk to him before I go to the er but I am almost positive it is broken.

I have been taking ambien lately and have found myself doing weird things in my sleep, so I think I broke it last night while sleepwalking.

Has anyone ever heard of this?

I am also on ambien and just did the same thing last night. I was told that sleep walking, and doing things and not remembering are side effects of ambien. It's a side effect I could have lived without. Was your hand broken? Mine is... "sigh"
