Woo! It's so weird that they have to put it in your hip/butt! Lol, good thing it doesn't hurt, though. I had to have one after my miscarriage!

Does everyone have to do the glucose test or just those at risk for gestational diabetes? I don't recall anyone up here talking about it. It sounds awful.

in .Canada it's routine(maybe optional??????), but it appears that in the uk, they don't do it unless you're at risk for it.

by "vacationland" do you mean maine? If so, I think they have pretty much everyone do it. I lived in maine for the first half of my pregnancy and they made me do it early at 9 weeks. Then I moved to nh and had to do it again at the standard 28 weeks.
