One possible side effect/consequences of a medical abortion could be the inability to conceive (sterility). Inability to keep the pregnancy (infertility) is another possible consequence of the procedure. Infertility manifests with habitual miscarriages (more than 2 miscarriages in a row). Infertility and sterility are often due to the uterus’s and oviducts’ adhesions and strictures which are possible results from an infection that might occur after an abortion.
