What Causes Beer Sh*ts?

After a night of drinking I always spend the entire next day with explosive diarrhea (most commonly known as beer sh*ts). It never fails. I manage to escape hangovers by making sure to drink lots of water and orange juice, however I cannot get rid of this other issue.

Does anyone have a medical explination for what causes this?

I currently take a full regimen of natural herbal supplements and minerals including a greens superfood complex, coral calcium, omega 3-6-9 oils, aloe vera juice, goji juice etc.

Is there any supplements I can take to elimate occurance?

Is there anything I can eat to help reduce the issue?

I have read that certain berry root tinctures/tonics can be helpful especially blackberry. Does anyone have experience with these?
