I was having problems breathing on one side and I dunno why.....But n e wayz I went to doctor....(im a pretty healthy 16 year old btw) and he said it might be stress and anxiety problems and to consult my regular doctor..........We did and he got a chest xray which was clear and did a pft which showed my lung capacity to be normal..................And he didnt mention ne thing about anxiety.......My mom has anxiety problems and is on medications that got rid of those problems can this be genetic?

I read your question and I understand your concern.
Hereditary tendencies are there in anxiety disorder. You would need consultation with psychiatrist if echocardiography is also normal.
