Ive been taking lexapro for anxeity for 4 months now, and the past couple of weeks have been good. But last night I was trying to go to sleep and all of a sudden I had werid sensations in my head. I really cant explain it. I kept thinking thoughts like I was losing my mind. I was sweating like hell and couldnt sleep. I had chills at one point and then I would be hot as hell. Finally I fell asleep. But it scared me to death. I have been smoking weed again for a couple of weeks now. I dont know if that had anything to do with what happend last night. Anybody had experiences like this?

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!
I read your question and I understand your concern.
You would need short acting benzodiazepine to combat these panic issues.Psychotherapy sessions are also helpful.
I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
