Preliminary Requirements of Getting Pregnant

I am a woman and 25 years old.I would like to have a baby.
Do I need a special vaccine particularly mmr before getting pregnant ?

You should go to your doctor and get a complete physical, along with bloodwork, and a pap/pelvic. When making the appointment, tell them that you would like this done as you are trying to have a baby, and you want to make sure everything is fine before you actively try.

As for the vaccine, that is something you need to check with your doctor about.

Start taking folic acid 2 cos apparently its essential 4 pregnant ladies.Gud luck!

If you have not had your mmr, it is highly recommended that you get it and wait three months before conceiving. If you are not immune and contract this while pregnant, it can cause deafness and a number of other problems with your unborn child. There are no cases on file of problems with unborn children whose mothers conceived before the three month waiting period after receiving the mmr vaccine, but the research says that theoretically, it could cause problems.
