What Does Implantation Cramping Feel Like? (Page 6)

December 15th, 2009
I am having a lot of the same symptoms that are on here, I took a test which was negative but still have six days until my period. My breasts are swollen and tender, I feel sick a lot especially at night, I have had that feeling like I am about to have my period. I am also slightly constipated and get headaches more often. All of this happened with my first pregnancy so I am being hopeful about it. Also, I am craving cheese and normally I hate cheese....

Also Akabln - I wasn't married until my son was 4 months old and most of my friends that have children weren't/aren't married and their kids are perfectly happy and well adjusted.

Why would you take a test 6 days before your period? Even if you are pregnant, especially having done this before, you should know that it takes 10-14 days from conception for a positive urine test. 10 days would be the absolute soonest you could test positive and that would be in rare circumstances. But you tested with only approximately 8 days after O (in a classic case of a 14 day luteal phase).

Wait to test. Nothing is going to happen between today and the first day of your period. What will knowing 4 days sooner get you? But oh, you don't know, so worry worry worry and wonder wonder wonder. Still isn't going to get you the answer faster.

Good luck!

Possibly Pregnant?
Hi Everyone! Here is my dilemma:

I was on Mirena for a year and a half. My husband and I had sex on Nov 14th and on Nov 24th my Mirena came out. I had light bleeding for 5 days instead of my usual 7 day period bleeding but I still assumed it was my period even though it was also 1 week early. I went to the DR on Nov 30th-had a neg urine test. The DR said my body could have forced the Mirena out if I was infact pregnant but it would be too early to tell.
I have been having dizziness, headaches, heartburn, cramping(implantation bleeding my mother in law suggested), slightly sore nipples, food cravings and my bowel movements have been all out of whack. I go back to the DR on Thurs(Dec 17th) for a blood pregnancy test per my DRs requests. Would it still be too early to tell? I am dying to know. My husband and I weren't "trying", obviously b/c I had the Mirena, but we would be very excited if we were. Any help would be greatly appreciated Smile Sorry for such a long post!

It wasn't meant to be rude. It was meant to be realistic. What will be the difference in knowing, say, 3 days or 4 days sooner? Is there a specific medication you need to take? If that is the case, please see your doctor for a blood test.

Too Early for Implantation cramping?
Hi all, I have a quick question. I had my period on Dec 19th. Had sex everyday from Dec 29-Jan3. I felt mittelschmerz pain on my right side on the 2nd. It is now the 7th and I have been having period-like cramping for the past 3 days (since the 4th). Is this too early to be implantation pain? I'm not due to start my period until around the 19th of this month, which is 12 days away. My breasts are also slightly sore, but I've had the breast tenderness before and wasn't pregnant...bascially wondering if anyone else had this very early cramping and then turned out to be pregnant, or is it too early??

Like the last 2 posts, the cramps got me worried. My cycle is close to both annaluv928 & Kimmybruce. My period started on the 17th -
on the 5 & 6th I had period like cramps. I literally went to the bathroom several times thinking the period has started. My boobs were also very sore and tender - but this has happened before due to working out. Yesterday morning I noticed the cramps are gone and the boobs are not as sore. I'm expecting my period on the 13th. My temperature is kind of high 98.7 too. I just do not want to stress about this and will wait till the 17th. Will post my results

Is it too early for symptoms?
Hi, so I'm wondering if it would be too early to have symptoms of pregnancy. My last period started on the 17th of dec and on new years eve and day I was able to spend some much needed time with my sailor who was home on leave. After looking at some ovulation charts, I realized that those were prime ovulation days. Yesterday and today I've had cramping and nausea. The cramps are only on my left side but are pretty intense. My normal period cramps are usually crippling. I'm also slightly constipated which is really abnormal for me. I wouldn't have even thought much about it if I hadn't had the nasuea this morning. I've never been pregnant so I'm not sure what to expect or if it's too soon for this kinda stuff. Some feedback or advice would be great.

hi. im in the same situation as Kansas. i know i ovulated late in my cycle and my boyfiend and i had sex the same day. my af is now 3 days late and ive been having this crampy feeling in the lower right side of my abdomen. my af is never late unless i have a cyst which is been ruled out because i just had an ultrasound on jan 5 so make sure they were gone. so im curious am i right about thinking im pregnant? my boyfriend is convinced im not but the feeling im having is exactly like what everyone is describing. i really hope im right about this.....

I have been experiencing some cramping myself. We decided that we are ready to have a baby about 3 months ago. i am very excited. i have been experiencing these crampings mainly on the right side...but they are faint. they aren't very painful just some "tightening pains" it feels like. i am 5 days before my period... cant wait to see if i miss it Smile fingers are crossed. and to add some hope for us all that are trying... sometime a pregnancy test wont show a positive sign until a week after your period... the latest ive heard was that it takes up to 6 weeks for some. i have been experiencing other symptoms too. fatigue, heartburn... even off of a snickerdoodle cookie... ha, back and headaches, very emotional, and my breasts feel very heavy and sore. hope this helps some one and what do others think?

Ohhh goodness! I have had cramps for almost a week now, it would be 15 days ago that I would have concieved (new years ever), I had my period on the 5th. However, it was half the time of my normal period, cramps were not half as bad, and I had no PMS symptoms other than tender breasts and since then I have had cramps, 3 positive tests, and 3 negative. I went to the doctors just yesterday and I got a negative, but the cramps are still happening. Im still exhausted, have a headache, eating so much, constantly thirtsy, my temperature is higher than normal, im light headed and dizzy, and my feet feel swollen and Im extremely moody. I would love to know whats going on with me! My fiance and I were so excited to see positive results, and now we just have no idea whats going on.

Any one else have this problem??

Implantion bleeding
I think I am pregnant again. With my first 2 there was no implantation cramping or bleeding. With my third, I had a massive implantation bleed that occurred a lot later than it should have (at 7 weeks) They did an ultrasound and you could see the bleed right next to the baby. I had to go on bed rest for a month. The bleeding was very light and looked like blood from the end of a period. I have also misscarried so I thought that was happening again. But I should have been ovulating about 1 1/2 weeks ago, and that is when we had sex. Yesterday I had some cramping that felt like I was starting my period. There is no blood and the cramping has stopped. I am pretty sure it was implantation cramping. Hopefully that is useful to someone.

Update: well I'm not pregnant. I started my period today, too heavy to be implantation bleeding. I had all the symptoms of being pregnant...sore breasts, occaisional nausea, some cramping off and on for past week and a half, mood swings, food cravings....anyway, we've only been trying for a month, so fingers crossed for next month Smile

Little Angels
Hi Everyone,
I am a mum off 3 boys aged 37 and me and my hubby decided to have 1 last try for a little girl (wont matter if a boy...love boys too) anyways I have done some research into methods and decided to try Shettles hence got the book "How to choose the sex off your baby". Anyways here goes:
My last period was the 29th December (cycle 26/27 days tracked over 3 month) I ovulated between the dates 8-14. I reckon peak day was 11th December.
I have had slight cramps in both my ovaries/tubes between 14/16 Dec and very sore swollen boob between 12th and 15th they then settled.
This am 17th I had 2 sharp stabbing pains in my uterus and my breasts have began slight pains. (similar to let down for breast milk). Could this be implantation.
Will know the 27th January the due date? If anyone has followed Shettles please let me know?
I have not used any contraception for a few years. So fingers crossed.

Good Luck Everyone!!!!
