appendix removed through surgery

I just had my appendix removed through surgery. Is it true that I shouldn't be sitting at times and just lie down all day? How long wil this 'post surgery sympton' affect me? I can hardly move right now...I have a tour to go in 2 weeks time.....Do you think i'll make it?

No, there is no such restriction that is permanent.

After a weeks time, you should be able to resume your daily activities.

Clear all your doubts, by speaking with your doctor.
