Hello, I have noticed a bump or swell on the outter rim of my anus opening about the size of a peanut. It is sensitive and feels rather fleshy. I am concerned that it might be cancer or something else. It is the same color as the rest of my anus.
I usually move my bowls two three times a day and I pass gas every few minutes. I also have diabetes. What could be the condition?

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and i understand your concern. This looks like anal tag or prolapse or hemorrhoid. Needs rectal examination and assessment, dont worry its not cancer for sure.

I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
Take care
