And not all of the body joints are capable of giving up the cracking sound when manipulated. Or as we say in chiropractic, the sound comes when the joint is adjusted.

there are a lot of areas where you can get muscles knotted up in your body. when your muscles are knotted they get stuck together restricting them from fully relaxing.
i just received a massage for the first time, and now they want me to go back since they didn't get the knot out of my neck. kind of ridiculous you can't just walk into a doctor ask him to remove all the knots in your muscles and walk out.
white man's medicine at it's best, keeping the nation's stress high.

Anxiety, shortness of breath, not able to relax
Looks like we're all having the same problem. My feelings come and go, although sometimes they last for days. I have problems catching my breath and getting that one good relaxing deep breath. Although I know I'm not going to die from this they always make me panic. Sometimes I even get small pains in my chest when I think about it too much. I've only had it checked once because usually all I need is reassurance that I'm Fine and my feeling usually goes away. But not getting these deep breaths usually scare me pretty good. Sometimes no matter what I do I can't get it to go away. I'm sure it's something I'll have to live with forever, which sucks, but usually as long as I know I'm fine, then I'm able to deal with it. To me, it's all in my head but the feeling is real.

This happens to me quite frequently and I notice it is mostly when I am tired or haven't slept well. Also believe its associated wiith stress and anxiety even though I dont feel like im stressed. It is a pain to deal with and makes me think I could lead to other problems.

I'm experiencing not being able to get a satisfying breath also. It seems to be accompanied with a lot of stress and knots in my upper back. Upper back massages have helped. Also, I find when I press on or massage the pressure points on my back it feels so good and I easily take a satisfying breath. It seems to be a temporary solution.
