Doubt it. Humans were designed to be meat eaters, that's why we have so many teeth. Since we have "evolved" into what we are, our mouths have gotten smaller but the number of teeth has not changed. That is why teeth get crowded and wonky. For people with spaces, it's still the same thing, but they often have rotated teeth or maybe even missing teeth. It takes constant pressure and plenty of time to actually move teeth.
