Question what kinds of cancers would cause large red lumps on both legs, thighs and moving upward to hip area? The lumps are red, warm, kind of like bruses and are tender when gentally pushed on. Please let me know if anyone knows anything about this. My sister has this and her doctor did mention that some types of cancer can do this. She will be seeing an internest this wednesday. Please help.

Thank you
christina

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and i understand your concern.
This doesn't sound to be cancerous.
It looks erythema nodosum like lesions.
I would suggest you to consult a dermatologist to evaluate it as without examination diagnosis is tough.
I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
