Old woman with friedreich's ataxia & diabetes

I'm a 40 yr. Old woman living with friedreich's ataxia & diabetes as a result. I've been in a wheelchair since 1992. I would enjoy corresponding with others who also have fa.

I read your question and I understand your concern.
Oral hypoglycemics will be a better option for you. Just keep control on your diet and have a good compliance with drugs.
I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
