Hello and welcome to e health forum. ‎

The description of the lump appears to be a infected abscess or a infected sebaceous cyst on the scalp. Such lesions increase in size with time, and hurt when pressure is applied.

Any form of infection and abscesses can cause fever, lethargy and generalized aches and pains. Use of anti inflammatory medications like ibuprofen or aspirin can help reduce such symptoms. In addition treatment with ‎antibiotics might help to treat the infection. ‎
Hence for proper treatment, you might consult with your doctor, who can ‎do the needful.

I hope this helps.
