Are Cramps Normal In Early Pregnancy ??

I really need some advice here.... I started getting abdominal cramps about a week ago, 2 days before my period was due. I usually get them immediatly before the period starts but this time- no period. So I missed my period and after I was 5 days late I took a pregnancy test that came out positive. ( that was just this morning) I am worried though because I still have the cramps, every few hours they last about 15 minutes or so and then go away. Is this normal for early pregnancy?? I am dying to find out and I cant go to the doctor until monday... Someone please help!!!

Cramping in early pregnancy is normal. I had cramping and spotting until almost my 12 week mark with my first child. But if you get any heavy bleeding and clotting go to the hospital right away.

Congratulations

hope things go well for you.
