Generalized Anxiety Disorder ( GAD )

I was diagnosed with gad about four years ago and handle it pretty well with relaxation techs, proper diet, exercise. Etc. All of your postings have also helped me greatly, just reading makes me feel better.

Recently i've had stomach pains, no other symptoms, that have in my mind turned out to be appendicitis, testicle cancer etc. Yes, they get worse when I think of them. Even though i've been to the doctor and a blood test and urine test have come out fine, I can't get the bad thoughts out of my mind.

How about some encouragement from any one out there that cares to? Thanks in advance. Glad I chose to partake in the forum.

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and I understand your concern.
Its treatable disease. You need to have good compliance with drugs. Avoid stressful situations.
Cognitive behavioural therapy sessions are also helpful.
I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
Take care
