I have had 2 previous miscarriages. I am currently 6 weeks pregnant and this time I cut out all caffeine after ovulation. I have been on baby aspirin for the past 3 months and prometrium after ovulation. I had an u/s at 5 weeks and we saw a gestational sac and yolk sac. I am currently 6 weeks pregnant. I go back wed. to see if there's a heartbeat. I have had dark brown spotting since the u/s 3 days ago accompanied by minor cramps. I have been on bed rest since thurs. My mind is setting me up for another miscarriage. That will be #3 and it will be time to see a RE. I thought for sure we had done so much to make it right this time. Does anyone have any advice for me? Of course I am still holding out hope.

Thanks
Thank you unfortunately I know its a waiting game. It's all to familiar. I was hoping someone could give me some advice on what their doctors did different to help. It is emotionally draining on me. Even though it has not happened yet I don't know well I will handle another loss.

i am sorry to hear about your situation but am ver familiar with what you are experiencing.
I am currently in the exact same situation as you - though i am yet to have my first u/s (tomorrow morning) and get my bloodwork back. i have no previous children and am well and truly over losing babies and would really be interested in finding out what can be done to prevent this again. i am trying to think positive but since this is the 3rd time and you do take so much care what else can you do?

I noticed this was posted in Feb this year, i am really interested in how you got on and if there is anything that can be done to prevent this next time as i don't know how many more D & C's and miscarriages that i can take physically & mentally

I would go to a fertility specialist that can tell you why your miscarrying. It could be as simple as hormones not working properly.
