My friend has this pimple type cluster in his ear. It's right on the inside of his ear and about 1/2 inch in size. He said there's 2 heads, but it looks like multiple heads and he said if he squeezes them, white stuff comes out and then blood. It's really horrible looking, and I cant find any info online even close to it. Any help??

It's on or behind the tragus? My sister said that's what it is called.

No one knows exactly what causes acne but contrary to popular belief, spots like the ones that you describe are not caused by dirt. Most likely, your friend experienced a pimple. Pimpless form when hair follicles under your skin clog up. I'd suggest that if the skin of the ear still displays these types of symptoms that he go to see a dermatologist. Treatments include medicines and creams.

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and I understand your concern.
Its boil. Topical antibiotic like mupirocin or fusidic acid is helpful in combating this problem.
I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
