Yeah, because the whole "I don't care what anyone says, I'm going to do what I want" attitude is so new and different in a teenager.

You'll see when the baby gets here how hard it's going to be with so many dogs. I have a hell of a time with Kaylee & Duke. 99 % of the time Duke has to be tied outside all day long because I just can't juggle him & Kaylee. You don't see it now but you're not going to have much time for those dogs when the baby comes. Dogs get jealous & you not having time for them anymore is reason enough for one or all of them to do something to get back at you for that. & hurting your baby may be one of the ways they get back at you. Like I said in my posts above, I only turned away for a split second & Duke bit Kaylee. Bridget was sitting right there when Rudy went after Finn. YOU NEVER KNOW. I'm by no means saying all dogs are like this, I know a lot of people have have a baby & A dog, & they have no problem. I don't think I know anyone who has a baby that would have more than 2 dogs to be honest.

Thanks, he's either going to go to the one in Tunkhannock or the one that's a little bit farther out of town. Depends which one is going to be cheaper.

You're blatantly ignoring MULTIPLE posters ON THIS FORUM who have had dogs ATTACK THEIR CHILDREN. You have this attitude of "Oh we have a baby gate so my 6 dogs are cool... they're like my kids anyway so I'm not getting rid of them." You've flat-out said you won't find better homes for them to prevent something happening because "they don't deserve to be punished before they do something". You'd rather wait and put your infant at risk of not only one, but SIX animals because you consider them family.

You've basically said "Sucks to be you Michelle, but my dogs are staying put." And your whole "I'm not getting rid of them and that's all there is to it" is a VERY TYPICAL teenager's "I'm going to do what I want and no one is going to tell me otherwise" attitude. It's not the attitude of someone who wants what's best for her child. You're not putting her needs first... you're too busy with those animals. It's sad.

Thanks, I'm looking into the shelters & everything now, I plan on taking him tomorrow since Shane has off & I'll have the car & him hear to help me. Kaylee's fine, thank god, because I swear if he would have pierced the skin or bit her any harder, he would be dead right now. I'm not just saying that either, I would have gone balistic.

I have two big dogs, & Jenny is now at the stage where she won't leave them alone. She crawls after both of them, & backs them into corners, which makes them grumpy. Meg, our border collie, growls a bit as she runs off, just to show her annoyance.. whereas our rescue dog, Tara, has actually snapped at Jenny & her cousin Alex before. (She's a little screwed up because she was abused.) Obviously they're my parents' dogs technically.. I don't want my own dogs until my children are grown-up.

I was thinking about that, especially if they are going to charge me a ridiculous price. I want nothing to do with this dog anymore. If it was a dog I was madly in love with & was heartbroken to get rid of, I wouldn't care how much it cost to find him a different home, but as of right now I honestly don't care what happens to him. My little girl is my life, nothing or no one is ever going to hurt her as long as I can still help it.

Actually, don't bother replying to me. I'm not opening this thread anymore. Have fun with your dogs. Oh, I'm sorry, your "kids". Yeah.

I'm glad Kaylee's okay, Michelle. Good luck finding Duke a new home!
