Can I Get a Dark Fake Postive After 8-10 Min

I am late and yesterday I bought one of those test that you pee in a cup then use a dropper and put drops in this little circle. I looked at it after about 2 min it only had 1 line. I threw it away then something told me that I did not wait long enough so i went to the trash i would say 8 min and it had a dark not faint positive line?Could the line being that dark be false? If it was an evaporation line would it be light? Laughing Rolling Eyes

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and I understand your concern.
You have to read the result after three minutes and following that any results are not reliable. However, that does not end the story and I suggest you to repeat the test and look for the result. In case of any confusion, meet your doctor as blood test of the same hormone[beta HCG] is always advised whenurine pregnancy testing is doubtful.
I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counseling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
Take care
