it's macaroni, ground beef, some form of tomato sauce, and onions and peppers.

nothing fancy, but nick had never heard of it and we saw it on some food network show the other night and the host had never heard of it either (they were in nh). it was a staple on our school lunch menu so i wondered how people could not have heard of it.

Are you describing a goo-lashe(sp)? I remember something like that in my school cafeteria, but I don't know what it's called either. I hope someone can help you figure it out though.

I wasn't too sure, but goulash sounded like what you were describing.

Thankfully you know what it is now. Are you planning on making some?

i made some tonight because we saw it on a show and my husband begged for it. there's nothing to it and it's not my favorite but he seemed to like it.

Ok, I just re-read your original post. Apparently I'm a dunce because you knew what it was all along. I feel like a fool Embarassed but that's ok.

I make my goulash with ketchup instead of tomato sauce.

Are you going to make it for him?

i made it, he liked it. i probably won't make it again. we'll be eating this for a week.

i've been feeling quite domestic lately and making lots of new things. i made an awesome batch of chili last week and i'm making it again this week. i'm drooling, it was so good...

edit: batch gets filtered? "an awesome gal of chili"? lame.
