I am about to do the at home highlight thing. Hopefully it turns out ok. I will post before and afters when done.

ugh..
i don't want to scare you
but i was trying to red highlights in my ex's hair
and i left them in too long
they came out pink
=)
it was pretty funny...

just follow the instructions and you should be okay

LOL Thats funny.. I did that once and then when I went to the hair dresser they said that I had to wait till my highlights grew out before they would do my hair

i went to a lady i had never went to before
and she didn't know my hair
left the dye in too long
1. fried my hair
and
2. left me with gray stringy hair

Eek, now I am scared. I am sitting with the dye in my hair right now so i figured I would post the before picture. It is from a few weeks ago since I forgot to take one before hand Crying or Very sad

just do exactly what the instructions say
and if it starts burning take it out

ok ive never had bad high light expierience before

but this one time i was dieg my hair blue and it came out purple
it was soo horrible

ive had my hair all sorts of colors... lol

If it turns out bad I can always dye it again in a few days Very Happy

Here is the pic of before




You can see i have a little bit of red when the sun shines on it. Eventually i will have to dye it because I have already found a few grays and I do not want to leave it there. It would look weird since I am only 19.

I will try and not take offense at that one. Wink

They are supposed to be honey highlights. They came out a little chunkier in some areas than I would have wanted but meh, I live.

It is much more noticeable from the top. Their is a section that turned out kinda bad but if I part it a certain way it looks ok.
