Hello,

My mother suffers from extreme daily pelvic pain which is accompanied by food aversions, belching and constipation. She has had a hysterectomy two years ago due to cancer of the uterus. Could these be side effects of the hysterectomy? If not, what could be causing her so much pain? Please help. I am lost...

I am scared.... Sad

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and I understand your concern.
I donot think that is a complication of hysterectomy. She might have a gastric issue or urinary tract infection or anything that needs to be sorted out.Just have a visit with her GP for an opinion.I do not presume there is any serious problem here.
I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counseling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
Take care
