wow. . i've never heard of this before.I'm not sure that there is anything you can do to change her mind on that. You can go get help anyhow because if you do break up you might have a repeat episode with a new gal. Maybe you have surpressed anger or something?

I have heard about things like that. As most people who took highschool psychology can tell you dreams are your minds way of trying to work out a problem. This could have been caused by a fight, perhaps you were just left not knowing what to do, and while you were sleeping your subconcious just acted. It could also be as simple as suppressed anger.
Good luck with getting hep, and i hope that you are able to figure out whats going wrong.

Abuse While Sleeping
See a sleep disorder specialist ASAP. There is a sleep disorder that causes this sort of behavior. Ask your family doctor for a referral. God Bless you.

My boyfriend does the same thing. In the middle of the night I bumped him, I said I'm sorry and he sat up and elbowed me in the chest. He has never once been abusive while he is awake but every time he is asleep lately, no matter what I ask him or do he will get so angry and flip out on me. Does he need to see a doctor?

I have this exact same problem yiu are not alone. I have had it off and on for aboutg 10 years. Shrinks could not stop it. Tried hynosis and everything. I have bruised my wife several times from striking her ijn my sleep and screa horribly. It has made her cry before. I feel awful about it but cannot stop it. I am always being attacked in my dreams when this happens or am fighting with my wife.
