Use of Infant Cord Blood On a Mother

Hi. I was wondering, if it is possible to treat some types of leukemia using infant's cord blood on his/her mother. Is this procedure available in Canada ?
Is it very expensive ? How much ? Thanks.

Thank you for asking!
Cord blood transplants specially double ones are more promising than single ones are still in early research phases and hematologists have not yet given their expert authentication and green signal about it.. Seek a hematologist and let themd ecide what is best for the leukemia..These ones usually work in early stages. A hematologist will let you guide further regarding the procedure pros and cons.
Take care
