3 to 4 day before the period i eat norethisterone 3 times?

my first day of my last period is on 19 may. i went to see a doctor to get norethisterone pill to delay my preiod as i'm going for and holiday trip for 3 days . but my doctor wants me to start taking the pill from 14 june till the end of my trip but i have to take 2 tablet every morning . but when i browse through the internet , it stated all as 3 to 4 day before the period i have to eat 3 times daily. so which one exactly is the right one ?

Follow your doctor’s instructions. The pills prescribed for postponement of periods should be started atleast 5-7 days before actual expected period dates. Starting them late on not in appropriate dosage might lead to breakthrough bleeding/spotting etc. Depending on the hormonal dosage contained in the pill, your doctor might choose to prescribe it to be taken once a day or in divided dosages depending on what effect is required. For further clarification and assistance, visit your treating doctor/gynecologist.
