Tiredness and achy neck

These are my symptoms: Every 2-3 weeks I get real tired one day then moves to very achy neck, moves then to back and whole body. I feel very yucky and basically I can be down for a few days to a week. Then when it has run its course I feel great....then it will start all over again in a couple weeks. Has anyone experienced this while going thru menapause? I am 59. I am in very good health and very active. I have Talked with my gynecologist and primary doctor but said these symptoms are not text book for menapause. I am very frustrated. Can anyone help me??
