User Profile
I am 7 weeks late on my period. I've done 3 pregnancy test but negative. I always have unprotected sex with my partner. But noticed some changes like White lumps on my nipples, weight gain, finding it a struggle to sleep on my stomach. And at least 4/5 times a dAy I get fluttering in stomach on both sides. What should I do??

Hi, and thanks for your medical question on eHealth forum!

Since it is seven weeks since missed periods, you can take an ultrasound test to confirm pregnancy. Otherwise you can also take a blood HCG estimation test. If the test is negative then you are not pregnant. If it is borderline, repeat after a week to see if the levels are rising. Rising levels indicate pregnancy.

If this too is negative then other causes of delayed or missed periods will have to be looked at such as stress whether emotional or physical, hypothyroidism, polycystic disease of the ovary, pituitary tumors secreting prolactin, anemia and poor diet, hormonal imbalance, unexplained or sudden weight gain or weight loss. You will need to consult a gynecologist for this. Hope this helps. Take care!
