thyroid runs in my family but i feel pregant...

thyroid runs in my family but i feel as if i am pregant i have been gaining weight with no apparent reason im not a big eater but i do get nauseas and get dizzy and do throw up sometimes all pregnancy test are neg. i do work graveyard shift so im always tired which i cant even count that as a symptom at this moment. what can be going on? my breast have also been growing and sensitive at times

If thyroid disease runs in your family, then this weight gain, sleepy feeling etc can be hypothyroidism. It can also be due to polycystic ovary. If you suspect pregnancy, take a blood test for pregnancy as this is more reliable than urine test. I think you should discuss these possibilities with your gynecologist.
