Thyroid cancer, now being told it has spread to my bone.

I recently had a total thyroidectomy with lymph envolvement. I am now being told it has spread to my bone....what is the percentage of patients this occurs? and what is the usual treatment for this?

I read your question and i understand your concern. Bone mets mean stage 4 . Your oncologist will try to restrict these mets in bones and shrink them via different means like chemo embolization, radiotherapy etc. Let your oncologist decide what is best for you.
