Hi,

My daughter was born with three toes on one foot. One leg might be shorter; it is difficult to tell. The doctor thinks that it is amniotic band syndrome. Does anyone have experience with this? Will she need surgery? Will she be able to walk, run, etc.? She is only three weeks old. When should we take her to be evaluated?

Thanks!!

She will be able to walk and t=run. All you have to do is to work with her condition every day of her life: sport, trainers, exercises, massages. While a child is still a little one, there's a lot you can do to influence her future.
