Welcome to ehealthforum.
It is difficult to comment on the exact cause for the prolonged periods/bleeding and pain during/after intercourse without thorough examination and further evaluation. The exact cause can only be made out after careful evaluation. Consider visiting your doctor/gynecologist at the earliest for thorough evaluation to look for the underlying cause for your symptoms. Treatment as appropriate (based on examination findings and evaluation results) would be started to help you control the bleeding and symptoms, and regulate your periods. Be in regular monitoring and follow-up with your treating doctor/gynecologist and report any new/abnormal symptoms immediately.
Take care.
