User Profile
Is there any research regarding the future conditions of toddler with CKD (stage 3-4)? My 3-year-old son got the CKD resulted from the Fetal distress when he was born because of the hospital's carelessness. I need to know what I will face in order to claim the hospital properly for the loss. Sorry for my poor English.

Hello and welcome to e health forum.

Chronic kidney disease in children can be due to a lot of causes including nephrotic syndrome, anatomic damage associated with ischemia, metabolic diseases, etc.

To answer your question, additional history regarding the exact cause of the kidney disease, as well as biopsy reports are very essential.

You might consult with your treating pediatrician or a nephrologist with the complete investigations, which can help to give you proper information.
