I am 22 and have giving birth 9 months ago. After birth I was on the depo shot till June 23. Since I have been off I have missed three periods. No spotting but white leaky stuff not cottage cheese like but clear mucus. I have gain 2 pounds in the last three months and am always tired but can't seem to be able to sleep. When I lay on my back I have sharp cramping pains in my lower back and when I lay on my stomach it feels as if I was laying on a ball. Super uncomfortable. I have been having headachs regularly and loss of wanting to eat. Little fills me up but always hungry after.having night time hungrys which I never get. I have pressure and like a burning sensation in my lower abdominal. I have taken 10 pregnancy test over the last three months and all are negative. My mood has been extremely happy just about everything. No nausea what so ever. Heart burn with everything even water. Everything else seems to be normal. So what is going on with me????

Welcome to ehealthforum,
If you are not pregnant, then absence of periods could be due to post-contraceptive use ovarian suppression/failure, endometrial changes, hormonal derangements etc. After coming off the Depo shot, the effects of hormones gets out of your system in about 6 months to 1 year’s time, however, there are chances that your fertility gets returned in the immediate cycle or next few menstrual cycles. If your fertility/ovulation has returned, and if you have been sexually active without protection, chances of pregnancy are possible. Look out for development of any other new symptoms if pregnancy is suspected. Few women can keep getting false negative results with urine pregnancy tests during pregnancy, hence getting blood HCG levels checked helps in confirming/ruling out pregnancy accurately. If you suspect chances of pregnancy (as suggested by your symptoms of altered vaginal discharge, increased tiredness, sleep disturbances, abdominal cramps, low back pain, headaches, loss of appetite, night time hunger, pelvic pressure, mood changes, weight gain), consider visiting your doctor/gynecologist at the earliest for thorough examination (to confirm pregnancy related changes/signs in body) and blood/serum HCG level test (to confirm/rule out pregnancy accurately). If pregnancy gets confirmed, ultrasound scan can be done to confirm gestation age and fetal wellbeing. Be in regular monitoring and follow-up with your treating doctor/gynecologist and report any new/abnormal symptoms immediately. Drink plenty of water. Take adequate rest. Maintain healthy diet.
Take care.
