Hello, and thank you for your medical question on e Health Forum.

From the history here, it seems that you may be having sinusitis, a infection of the paranasal sinuses.

Over-the-counter pain relievers and decongestants (Advil) may help relieve facial pain and sinus congestion associated with acute sinusitis. In addition to Advil, you may benefit by OTC antihistamines, which will help relieve most symptoms.

Other home remedies you may want to try include steam inhalation, Application of warm compresses and drinking plenty of fluids. Using a saline nasal spray in your nose several times a day will help relieve congestion.

Most people with acute sinusitis get better without antibiotics. However, if your symptoms are severe or worsen in the next few days, you may consult your doctor for the need for antibiotics.

I hope this helps.
