I am in early stages of pregnancy only 6 weeks along. of course I can't get in to see an ob before 11 weeks here. ( can't believe that). I have started to have swollen hands in the morning of course I have increased my water intake since I have found out and am drinking 8 to 10 glasses of water. I have also limitted my sodium intake. I was wondering if this is normal or if I need to be concerned about it?

my doctor told me that it's normal to have foot and leg swelling, but if anything on my upper body became swollen to let them know. keep them elevated as often as you can, and call the ob office back and tell them your hands are swollen and you're concerned. i'm 37 weeks pregnant and didn't really get swollen until recently
