Swelling Fingers on long distance walks?

i go for long distance walks and i have noticed that my fingers start swelling up that i cant actually bend them and they do hurt. What is the cause of this?

I think it might be the fact that it's cold outside! I've always noticed that my fingers swell up when its cold. Try bringing one of those heat packs (the ones you open up the pack and reacts w/ oxygen to heat up) those help me out! Best of luck!

I have the same issue & the weather has nothing to do with my problem because it happens in all weather types
