Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
It is difficult to comment on your pregnancy status and need for the medications prescribed without examining you and going through your evaluation/investigation results along with correlating with your symptoms. If your bleeding/period is abnormal, and if you are pregnant, it could indicate decidual bleeding. If bleeding in heavy, altered or associated with clots and abdominal cramps, it could indicate chances of miscarriage. If you still suspect chances of pregnancy, you may consider taking repeat blood/serum HCG level test to confirm/rule out pregnancy accurately. If worried you can also consider taking second opinion from another gynecologist.
Take care.
